Common Terms For Metal Pails
Common terms for Metal Pails
● Closed Metal Pails: a Metal Pails with a non-removable top, the top and bottom of which are permanently fixed to the body of the drum with rolled seams. Figure 1-1 shows a common 200-liter closed Metal Pails with an injection port and a vent on the top of the drum.
● Open Metal Pails: a Metal Pails with a detachable top, the top of which is the top cover of the open Metal Pails, usually fixed on the drum body by a closing hoop, clip or other device. See the common 200-liter open Metal Pails shown in Figure 1-2.
● Necked drums: drums whose body diameter is significantly reduced at the top or bottom to facilitate stacking. See Figure 1-3 for common necked Metal Pails.
● Column-tapered Metal Pails: The diameter of the upper part of the barrel is significantly larger than the diameter of the lower part, and it is a Metal Pails with an inverted column cone. See Figure 1-4 for a common 210-liter cone.
● Steel bucket: a steel bucket with a handle on the top or body of the bucket, generally has a small capacity and is easy to carry. See Figures 1-5 for common steel pails.
● Closure device: A set of closure device added to the Metal Pails, its purpose is to keep the contents in the Metal Pails and prevent the contents from being polluted. See Figures 1-6 for common open and closed drum closures.
● Crimping: the assembly and combination of the barrel body and the top and bottom of the barrel, in the form of crimping with five or more layers snapped together. Generally, there are two types of double flat curling (five layers) and triple round curling (seven layers). See Figure 1-7 for the cross-sectional view of the common triple-circle crimping and the schematic diagram of the double-flat crimping.
● Welding seam: The seam formed by welding on the barrel body is generally a resistance welding lap seam. The seam along the longitudinal direction of the barrel as shown in Figure 1-8 is the weld.
● Steel-plastic composite drum and lined Metal Pails: composed of two-layer drums, the inner layer is a plastic liner or plastic lining, and the outer layer is a Metal Pails. As shown in Figure 1-9, common steel-plastic composite drums and lined Metal Pails are shown.
● Internally coated Metal Pails: To prevent the inner wall of the Metal Pails from contaminating the contents or reacting with the contents, the inner wall of the barrel is coated with special paint. This kind of Metal Pails coated with inner paint is the inner coated Metal Pails. Figure 1-10 is a common inner coating bucket.
